This is going to be a great evening of music at the one and only Bryant Lake Bowl Theater. Americana singer-songwriter Drew Peterson will be starting off the night followed by Folk/Americana trio MorningBird - performing their brand new album - 'Echoes in the Meadow.' Coming from a long line of musically inept Norwegian Farmers and born without natural talent, Drew Peterson tackled his musical endeavors the way he had been taught while growing up on a farm in rural MN - hard work and a lot of practice. With over 20 years under his belt, Peterson incorporates clever, dry humor and thought-provoking lyrics into heartfelt and unforgettable performances. Listen at drewpetersonmusic.com MorningBird is an acoustic trio from Northern MN featuring Rob Wheeler (guitar, mandolin, harmonica, stomp box, vocals,) Jill Burkes (violin, guitar, vocals,) and Josh Palmi (upright bass, guitar, vocals.) The trio offers haunting harmonies and powerful string arrangements woven into an eclectic mix of music. 'Echoes in the Meadow' is a result of the magic that happened when the trio spent 3 weeks on the road - traveling, writing, and playing gigs across the west in the Fall of 2023. After touring they quickly made their way into the studio. All three members are songwriters and trade off writing and singing leads throughout the album, available online May 10.
